Buying tickets through ticketmaster?
I’m looking for opinions on two ways to purchase tix from ticketmaster. There is of course in person and the other option for me is online (no phone ordering thanks!). I’m buying tix for AC/DC that go on sale here this Friday at 10am. I am expecting lineups and if there are more than 2 people in line, you get a random number so who knows what you’ll get. Ordering online "holds" the tix in the best section available and you have a few min to decide if you want them. I looking for people who have experienced ordering tix online for a very popular event, how long did it take and how satisfied were you with the tix you got? Did you get good seats? I honestly don’t care if I have to hang from the ceiling by my toes to go I want to go that bad, but I would like to get the best seats possible!! I am available to start purchasing the tix the minute they go on sale.
hmmmm startin to think I might try phone AND internet….. if I go in person with my laptop there is never a guarantee I’ll get a wireless connection….you never know!
I would never suggest going in person. The reason is that what if you are third in line and the people in front of you are very slow, it could sell out of whatever while you are waiting.
Online and phone at the same time is a great idea. Doing it on the phone is a pain, but it’s a good back up. I have bought tons of tickets online for big and little concerts and never had a problem. Maybe you could get your mom or friend to sit on their computer and try a the same time. You can compare and see who got the best ones.

No problems getting the tickets i just found out later i paid more thru the ticket company than i would of straight thru ticketmaster….they must tack on extra for being the middle man….so be sure you are dealing with ticketmaster and not a 3rd party ticket agency….good luck & have fun!!!!

If you buy in person, be sure you take enough cash, they don’t accept anything else. If they’re giving out numbers, I would definitely order online or over the phone.
Once I actually called before 10 am and got a guy that was nice enough to keep me on the line until the tickets went on sale. Needless to say, I got great seats.
I saw AC/DC back in the day…lol
Good Luck!

Im just going to say that I would recomend trying to do both at the same time & start calling a few minutes before they go on sale.
When I ordered some tix off line & I also used the phone, ticketmaster crashed & I had like 17th row & when I was on the phone (yeah, they were completely busy, but I was lucky enough to get through) they were still able to go through & get good seats for me as they were opening up from the internet crash & I ended up with 8th row center.
Its better to try both, but since you’re not doing phone, I would go in person, you’re guaranteed the tickets. If you can, take a portable way of Internet like a laptop, iPhone etc. so you can try.
